Both devices are compact and carry an RF effective range of 300 feet (line of sight) and operate on a license-free 2.4 GHz frequency. With user-friendly keypads, standard function keys for both devices include: On\/Off, Zero, Tare and Print. In addition, two userdefined keys are included for peak hold, high resolution, total, view total, net\/gross, and units switching. Three selectable setpoints come standard in both models, with two of the selectable setpoints utilizing the programmable user-defined keys.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe MSI-8000 features a heavy-duty NEMA 4\/IP65 enclosure, making it ideal for use in nearly any operating environment.
