GSE is a leader in programmable weight indicators and they really knocked the ball out of the park with the 675. It uses a high quality strain gage load cell that is easily replaceable and is very inexpensive. It can run on D cells, several types of battery packs and AC. With option cards, it can handle up to four scales, it can interface to dozens of switched outputs or inputs, the memory can be beefed  up to 2 megabytes to store tens of thousands of records and can be programmed in C and the GSE programming language. Out of the box it can manage your inventory if you add a printer and a bar code reader. With custom programming, this scale can do almost anything you want. This is by far the most versatile scale we have ever worked with. If you have very light parts that are very valuable, look at the Setra Super II. If you have a need for a smart scale that can interface with your manufacturing software, monitor processes, direct operator actions and hold ample amounts of data, this is the scale for you.
